A Warm Greeting

A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a church a church. No matter what question you might have just ask. Our greeters will welcome you with a smile and are there to help you get settled and comfortable.

Fun

A casual atmosphere where friendships can form and relationships deepen. A place that is serious about joy, true joy, the kind of joy that comes from real connection with God and others.

Conversation

If you are a visitor or new to Seaton Memorial, expect to be noticed.  You will be asked to stand at some point in the service so that you can be acknowledged and welcomed by the congregation.  While you are standing, a Greeter will come over to you and present you with a packet of information about the church to take home with you. 

If you've been searching, praying and hoping for a place to belong, we say: "Welcome to Seaton Memorial, where the Spirit of the Lord is in control!"

Worship

Our worship service typically begin with Praise & Worship, followed by the Doxology and Call to Worship.  This is answered by the Hymn of Praise by one of our several choirs and congregation. Next the morning Invocation and prayer responses are shared by the clergy and the congregation.  Next Scripture reading, summary of the Decalogue, Affirmation of Faith and music selection. The Worship of Giving precedes the sermon.  Service conclude with the invitation to worship and the Benediction - and, of course, plenty of music, dance  and songs of praise.

Holy Communion services are held on first Sundays of every month.

Truth

The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God’s truth. At Seaton Memorial Church we seek to explore, understand and apply God’s truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love. You will find a growing variety of resources to help you grow in God’s truth.
